Just started taking provera 3 times a day... so tired. Anyone else experience this & does it get easier?
I’ve been on it for 2 years now and I remember it taking two or three shots before the bleeding slowed. I still spot pretty often but nothing like before
I was diagnosed with stage 4 pelvic endometriosis
YES! I totally had pain and they didn't give me really any options so I just coped, but I would put pressure on then and ask what your options are.
I'm supposed to start medical treatment on the first day of my next cycle (11 days from now). Initially I thought of starting with Visanne but not sure anymore cos of the cost and the need to use it same time daily as opposed to Depo-Provera which stays for 3months (but thinking of getting it for 1 month to see if there are adverse effects or not).
Any suggestions ladies??
I think it is a personal option. I chose Visanne as I was not comfortable with the idea of the shot, but again that is personal.
Hi all, I’m interested in side effects of Provera tablets; My fertility specialist suggested as I’m not planning pregnancy any time soon
I was taking visanne for two months and I was bleeding almost 1.5 months. Then my Gyn described Norethisterone for 10 days and I was able to stop bleeding. So I’m afraid to have the same side effects with Provera. As this time, doctor mentioned that I might get the light spots and I’ve been told the same with Visanne. I had a laparo-hysteroscopy in december, but apparently not all endo was removed. Another doctor wants to go surgical again to tackle the remaining endo. I'm confused as to go surgical again or just medical with Visanne... Help 🙁
Glad to hear the pain level decreased ❤️ That's what I'm hoping for.
I am starting on the Lupron injections Friday. I will be on it for 6 months my doctor seems to think that it is going to help me with my endo and also thinks that when I come off of it I wont have any problems getting pregnant afterwards. I am just wanting to see what the success rate has been with getting pregnant after the Lupron. TIA
Hello🦋 yesterday I saw my gynecologist and she decided to switch my pill to Provera because I’ve been experiencing a lot of lower abdominal pain. If you’ve used Provera what was your experience with it?
Thank you!
I just started mini pill for same reason, if it doesn't ease my pain Depo Prevera is next. Hang in there.
If Depo is used for treatment of endo, is it possible for someone to have it and it not be noticeable even when a doctor is removing an ovary and fallopian tube, even when a biopsy is done?
