I had one gynecologist tell me to my face that endo can’t grow and proceeded to look at me funny. Another told me that she could only prescribe Tylenol for my IUD placement. These make me laugh, lol
I was told to have a baby
I know if varies for each person, but how long did you take pain medications and how long was your recovery after excision surgery? I have an excision surgery and cystectomy coming up soon, and I am getting nervous about the amount of pain meds and recovery that may be involved. Is it worth it?
I was having issues with my endo. I was diagnosed later in life, but diet and supplements have reduced my period pain and other symptoms a lot. Main issue is that I still have severe gas pain during my… read more
I just had laparoscopic excision surgery in June 2023. I am about 8 weeks post op and I feel like i’m struggling with my body. Ever since surgery my body doesn’t feel the same. I need some advice. I’m 20 and I’ve been living with endometriosis and adenomyosis for as long as I can remember. I’m at the point where I’m socializing more (or will be, once life becomes more pre-COVID like) and I don’t want to have to avoid going out or going on dates anymore because of the wretched pain that comes with every period.
I’m having a diagnostic laparoscopy done on Friday. Just wondering if anyone can tell me their experience. Maybe share some pre op and post op tips? I am SUPER anxious about having the surgery that I have barely slept the last few days
Also, when you talk to the anesthesiologist, you can request an anti-nausea patch to go behind your ear that lasts 72hours! Sometimes they don't do this unless you request it

Does anyone feel that ibuprofen or Tylenol help??? My doctor keeps telling me to take both at the same time and it doesn't help whatsoever!!!!!!!!! I don't know what to do!!! If you ask for anything stronger they think you're just a drug seeker 😡😡😡 this is so upsetting to me!
