I have been waiting 9 years for a diagnosis and I haven't had an MRI but am waiting for a possible laporoscopy but it could take months to hear back, how do I go about an MRI to maybe see if that can confirm endometriosis.
All I gotta say is fight for your diagnosis! After previous Laproscopy and operations they still didnt find anything... until sept 2023 I went to the emergency for severe pain and vomiting they ended… read more
I’m worried because every ultrasound I’ve gotten doesn’t point to any lesions but my PT and endometriosis specialist have noted that my left side of my uterus is very tight which is where I experience the most symptoms and pain and they recommended surgery
thank you all so so much for your responses!!!
Hello! I am having trouble finding pain medications that actually works to relieve pain. I have used narcotics in the past but those just make me sick. Ibuprofen and naproxen occasionally work but I need something that works! Any suggestions??
I take Co-Codamol and use heat patches x
I went to an acupuncturist for the first time and she told me that since technology is growing that they can now see endo through ultra sound? Is that true? during my diagnosis laproscopy I was told that there was endo on a tendon that they couldn't safely remove, but through every recent MRIs and ultra sounds they find nothing... Is she just misinformed?
If they can't see it on a ultrasound y do they send us for the stupid tests shotty doctors :(
Have any of you ladies had any trouble with your gallbladder since being diagnosed with endo? For the last month and a half I haven't been able to keep hardly any food down, I'm constantly nauseous and I'm not pregnant. I am having testing done the 28th of this month on my gallbladder. If anyone has any insight I'd really appreciate it

I’ve been suffering with very bad period pains since my teenage years, im now 36 years old. I’ve had all the pain medications, scans, contraceptive pill and depot injection but GP never took me serious. Until last year at my ultrasound scan I was asked if I was ever tested for endometriosis as ovaries very close together.

Hi everyone-
I am new to this board and have a quick question! I have extremely painful periods and my doctor wants to do laparoscopic surgery to check for endo. Every single female in my family has endo. Mother, 3 aunts, and both grandmothers... so it's definitely likely I have endo as well. My issue is that I have a high deductible insurance plan so I would have to pay around 6-8k out of my pocket for this surgery. Does anyone know if it should be that way? Based on my discussion with the… read more
