Pain after surgery

Pain after surgery

I had laparoscopic surgery about a week and a half ago, and I still cannot pee without being in terrible pain. It doesn’t feel like a UTI to me; it’s a pain that starts around my bellybutton and then kind of fans outward from there and lasts a few minutes. But it’s bad enough that I can’t stand or breathe very well. I did call my surgeon, but he wasn’t available and the nurse I talked to told me not to worry about it. But I’m worrying anyway. Have any of you ever experienced anything like… read more

I had pain, but only for 2-3 days after at the most. I would call again if you don't feel like it is improving.

How to get pain meds?

How to get pain meds?

So I had larascopic ablation and cyst removal done about two weeks ago. The dr prescribed tramadol for the pain. Unfortunately I left the script for the meds in my friends care who i cant get ahold of. I had a few pills left from a previous prescription but I'm down to 3 pills. Problem is that suddenly my pain has come back full force and now that I'm back at work I need the meds to get through my shift. I heard some people where able to get meds prescribed through pain clinics. How do I… read more

Recovery after Laparoscopy

Recovery after Laparoscopy

I am 8 weeks post Laparoscopy ( 2 months post-op).I experience some of my pelvic pain same as prior to Laparoscopy.

Letrozole for both endometriosis and ovarian cysts?

Letrozole for both endometriosis and ovarian cysts?

I currently have the Mirena, which was placed after my laparoscopy in January. Birth control pills were stopped at this time (I was suffering terribly despite taking them leading up to the surgery). I am now dealing with multiple ovarian cysts. I had an extremely painful episode last month which they concluded was most likely a hemorrhagic cyst, and now I have an even bigger cyst that is going to rupture at some point. I go for another follow-up ultrasound in a… read more

Anyone have an Endo flare up and convince yourself it’s cancer?

Anyone have an Endo flare up and convince yourself it’s cancer?

Hey guys! I was diagnosed with Endo 6 years ago and last June had a transvaginal US that showed small cysts the day before i was to start my cycle. Lately I’ve been struggling with severe back pain, sciatica, gas, stomach issues and nausea. I’ve since convinced myself it’s ovarian cancer . Has anyone ever been here before?

Ovarian cancer, from what I've seen on Google, is usually insidious, whereas our "friend" endo is not. Did you ask your doc to do any further tests?

I need your help..any other advice would be very much appreciated.. <3

Okay, I have a constant vicious cycle of UTIs and yeast infections or sometimes just one or the other. The problem...I have tried everything under the Sun to stop these infections from occurring and I mean everything. This has been going on for about 2 years like this non-stop.

I exercise a lot...maybe I need to take a shower IMMEDIATELY after exercising (sometimes I can be in the gym for 2-3 hours..I know I am crazy lol), so maybe… read more
