IBS D & Endo

IBS D & Endo

Hi. Just joined. Have endo for 20+ yrs. Burned out 20 yrs ago and lasered 2 yrs ago. Deal w/ PCOS as well. Always thought my issues were related to that because of ruptured cysts. However, my D is so severe went to ER for dehydration. Take The Pill every day (no week off) to not have period to keep endo at bay. 20 yrs ago also did medication to throw me into menopause. GYN says 2 yrs ago endo was eveywhere in my body, lasered what she could. Usual endo symptoms: Chronic Diarrhea, Stomach upset,… read more

Post-op issues

Hi everyone,

Had surgery on Monday. I had already been diagnosed with endo so we thought that's what would be found this time.. i had zero endo but had extensive adhesions due to scar tissue. They involved my intestines, my left kidney, and my left ovary.

I felt good in the days following surgery but as the week has gone on i feel worse and worse. I've had alot of nausea off and on, a headache, some weird pains in my abdomen, and a good bit of bleeding. I tried telling myself that my body was… read more

How long did it take period to stop on depo provera?

How long did it take period to stop on depo provera?

I got my 2nd shot and am still bleeding, this week was even worse than the 1st shot...I am running out of options. My medical insurance doctor wont do surgery yet, as she wants me to do lupron or orilissa. I don't want to, as these cause bone loss and possible other issues, as well. Anyone had the same dilemma?

I’m curious if anyone has a retroverted uterus?

I’m curious if anyone has a retroverted uterus?

Hi, I’m new to this! I’m looking for a bit of advice. I’ve never formally diagnosed with Endo. However, I suspect there is a possibility that I have it. My mother has it, and I have a lot of the typical Endo symptoms. When i first started my period, it was a monster, complete with a full on 7 day heavy bleeding, irregular, vomiting mess. Lots of cramping, lower back pain and cloudy urine. I’ve spent the last 10 years on birth control pills, but recently 6 months ago… read more

Struggling to find the right treatment

Struggling to find the right treatment

Hello everyone!
I'm new to this site and happy to be able to hear everyone's stories. I was diagnosed based on symptoms for Endometriosis about ten years ago. I've been on Norethindrone for 7 years and for the most part have had good luck. I have a hard time losing weight with it but no other prominent side effects. The only issue is breakthrough bleeding/periods. It used to occur only if I didn't take the pill at the EXACT same time each day (which is so hard to remember)… read more

sacroiliac joint and endometriosis

sacroiliac joint and endometriosis

Does anyone suffer with sacroiliac joint pain and endometriosis?

I've had laparoscopy surgery 3 weeks ago and by hip/buttocks/lower back is still very sore. Im wondering now is it something else linked to endometriosis or should I relax and take it as I'm still recovering..

Sudden pain?

Sudden pain?

When you first realized your pain and symptoms, were they very sudden or were they always there? I've had my period for around three years and was never too concerned about anything until a couple months ago when I started getting some intense pain out of no where. Now my pain seems to get more intense by the day.

16 ur old daughter

16 ur old daughter

A few questions... my daughter is 16 and has had a laser lapraoscopy which helped a little. She tried the IUD which was bad. She’s on the pill now with no period breaks. She misses high school one or two days a week. Has anyone taken Orilissa? We are in the Twin cities and the OB/GYN we tried to get into is only taking surgical candidiates and I don’t think she is one. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Just had a lap, and no endo?

Just had a lap, and no endo?

I've been experiencing severe pelvic pain since I was about 9 (for 12 years now), to the point I collapse and have fainted a few times. Endometriosis runs on both sides of my family but I've always been dismissed by doctors. In September I finally had enough after getting into a car accident because the pain hit suddenly and caused my swerve into oncoming traffic. I found a new doctor, and the first appointment he said it sounds like endo. Ultrasounds, endoscopy and colonoscopy all… read more
