Lately i have been waking up through the night very hot and covered in sweat (it is almost winter in adelaide sa). I have been on visanne for over 12 months - could this be the Visanne?
Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this?
Hello there, I have been on Visanne since July 2015, and for the past two years I have experienced dreadful night sweats. I suspect it might be the Visanne... but what to do? Either excruciating… read more
I've tried heat creams, patches and pain relief nothing helps i just can't lay down or sit up straight without wanting to burst into tears :(
I have to wait until may to see my endo specialist.
I struggle with severe lower back pain around the clock, I actually have swollen paraspinal muscles to go with my endometriosis pain (which has always primarily caused lower back cramps for me)… read more
Not every day,but most of the week i wake up several times during the night/morning soaked in sweat. I mean my hair, clothes everything are soaked and my room is freezing?!?!? Its the most horrible feeling. My doctors don't know what's causing it. I read online it could be hormonal problems. Just hoping maybe someone else experienced it so i can make some sense to my doctor.
I think in your case it’s hormones. For me I have that when I ate sugar the day before weird ha😅
Hi, this is my first time on the site and I've already found it so helpful reading through some of the other posts and replies.
I was diagnosed with endo last June following a trip to A&E with a misdiagnosed kidney infection/query appendicitis/query gall stones! Nothing showed on scans but when they decided to open me up they found stage 4 endo with frozen pelvis. Had tissue removed from around my uterus, bladder, and top of bowel which had started to connect to my diaphragm. Post surgery I had… read more
Hi, I have the same problem as well. This is my second period after I came off decapeptyl and I feel sharp severe pain on one side of my abdomen. I'm really worried.
Since about 5 weeks post surgery (on day 3 of my 1st cycle), I have had extreme pain that worsens at night...feels like endo pain, but it's located in my arms, wrists, and hands, to the point that I can barely move them, and they swell up a little, too. Does anyone else have this issue? It could be totally unrelated, but I wanted to see if anyone else experienced that. I'm not on any medicines or anything (I've seen ladies on here complain of arm pain after getting a shot, but I haven't had a… read more
OH MY GOSH!!! I can't believe I FINALLY found others with my exact symptoms!!!! I have terrible arm/shoulder/hand pain; more often the right but not all the time, as well as other random places and… read more
I have night sweats constantly and I assume it's from the birth control or the lack of hormones because of the birth control, does anyone know more about this? Does anyone know if changing to a different birth control may help? Or is it caused by the endo itself? I can't see why it would be but saw many others have this problem too. I hate waking up constantly sweaty then cold then sweaty. Sigh.
Hello there, are you perhaps taking Visanne?
Does anyone ever get swollen and painful glands in the groin with their endo? I recently noticed this on my left side. It is noticeable to the touch and is scaring me a little. I am not feverish and show no signs of infection. I admit, I freak myself out a lot worrying about cancer because I also have ovarian remnant syndrome that worries me about turning into cancer. I see my surgeon on the 14th of January and I am scheduled for a robotic surgery to remove more endo and hopefully find the… read more
Yes!! This is exactly what I'm going through. I get no answers. A good chunk of the month I quite literally look and feel like I'm dying. But so far nobody can tell me much if anything and past… read more
Also have PCOS so moving is really important but my ability to do so has declined quite a bit over the last year :( Even really gentle movement that can maybe be done before a flare-up would be great, at least I will be doing something and can hopefully slowly build up tolerance again.
I find that walking helps me a lot. Nothing too intense, just light daily walks.
Does anyone suffer from anxiety and depression as well- stemming from endo?
I personally have noticed if I am not working on eating healthy and doing physical therapy or yoga . My anxiety gets worse as well as my depression.
Yes I suffer both it take a real big told on my life… I’m always here to talk if you every needed someone to take to during an episode…. I learn talking to someone always seem to easy down my anxiety… read more
I'm struggling to find a form of exercise that doesn't cause a flare-up. I used to do loads of walking and would aim for 100k steps a week, now the thought of that makes me want to cry because of the pain waking excessively causes.
I'm looking for something to help keep off the weight and bring some endorphins into my life.
yin yoga, Pilates, upper body weight lifting and swimming is really good.
