Hi I was recently prescribed Visanne by my Dr. The pain almost immediately disappeared, but I started my period a month into taking it and now it's been 10 days straight on my period which is showing no signs of stopping. Any ideas on how to make it stop as it's creating havoc in my day to day life
The period went on for abt 10 days and then stopped. I've been taking Vissane for a couple of months now. Haven't got my subsequent period yet..... hope it stays that way š¤ Have had a bit of mild⦠read more
I was taking naproxen 500mg for severe period pain but over time it stopped working so well. I went back to the doctor and he prescribed mefenamic acid and said itās used to treat endometriosis and should help my pain. After getting home I looked it up and it was saying it was less effective than naproxen but when I got my period again I tried it anyway. It barely did anything and today I went back to the naproxen. Iāve sent an online message asking if I can have anything stronger thatās⦠read more

At work and in so much pain!!!!!!
Does anyone feel that ibuprofen or Tylenol help??? My doctor keeps telling me to take both at the same time and it doesn't help whatsoever!!!!!!!!! I don't know what to do!!! If you ask for anything stronger they think you're just a drug seeker š”š”š” this is so upsetting to me!
i take ibuprophen , amitryptlene ( which i am weening myself off against doctors wishes ), gabapentin, lanzoprazole, rinitadine and a few more meds for other stuff xx
I take morphine, buscpan and paracetamol which still doesn't help with the pain but they can't put me on anything stronger
Hi everyone
Really frustrated lately with the lack of options available for those of us that have bodies that don't respond to pain medication. In example, after my last surgery, morphine did absolutely nothing to alleviate my pain. Meds given for post surgery did NOTHING to help me. The only thing that has worked a tad is Dilaudid (hydromorphone). It was the strongest medicine available in the entire hospital I was at and I needed 3 doses just to dull my pain! I can't exactly get a⦠read more
Iām also on dilaudid for the unbearable days, but I hate taking it. Iāve been on medical marijuana which helps, but I go to sleep after. My daughter wakes up from cramps, and she takes Naproxen with⦠read more

I have been prescribed both in the past and haven't used either as I was concerned about the side effects, especially with Aspen-Diegnogest/Visanne but my flow is out of control and I have endo in many places included bladder and rectum so that makes it worse. I have only used Naproxen for years for the pain but I have been beyond "managing" for a long time now, especially with the flow and I have also learned/realized that this treatment plan does not actually "treat" endo which⦠read more

Hey everyone
Iām wondering if anyone else has been told they have a ātilted uterusā and if so, how has it affected you?
Iāve been having bad abdominal pain and cramping for six months, so Iāll be having another lap on the 16th.
I have Crohns and itās been such a headache with the GI doctors assuming my pain, bloating etc is from Endo. I deep down feel that I have adhesions behind the uterus and possibly on the bowel.
Also, does anyone else get crazy water retention?
What do you take for⦠read more
