Hi I'm new here and really need some help
I have painful periods, heavy and irregular. Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, pain with bowel movements sometimes, frequent need to wee, nausea, headaches all the time. Constant dull ache in my lower stomach and back. But sometimes get shooting pains in my right side.
My ultrasound scan came back negative but I'm still in pain and feel tired all the time too. I'm seeing a gynae soon but I'm scared I might need a laparoscopy.
Please any help andā¦ read more
Laparoscopy is the best answer for a proper diagnosis. Took me a few years of terrible pain. Doctors eventually discovered that I have deep infiltrating endo and mostly rectovaginal. After theā¦ read more
New here but sadly not to endometriosis. Obviously I live with the burden of this disease running my life and marriage so after a year of being told I need a hysterectomy I have scheduled it. The Dr is saying 6 weeks for healing. We are doing laparoscopic with the possibility of abdominal removal as I have Stage 4 and it is covering my bowels and possibly reached my bladder. Any of you who have had a hysterectomy please tell me how long did it take until you could move around at least for anā¦ read more

Being 20 weeks and 3 days pregnant
I am concerned about the risks during the birthing process
Sadly, it's a fact that women die while giving birth all the time and women of color like myself die at even higher rates.
Taking this into consideration while having stage IV Endo... I am concerned about risks while giving birth and if there is a percentage/statistic that maybe known of how often do women with Endo die during child birth or within the year of giving birth? As well as havingā¦ read more

Hello. Anyone menopausal and still having pain? My doctor is convinced that at 51 my endo pain will decline soon and took me off my Norethindrone daily maintenance and Mirena IUD. Crashed and had severe cramps for 3 days. Still having pain in my right side. Hoping the doctor is right, but after 30 years of dealing with pain (post a confirming laparascopy surgery in my 20s), I still feel dismissed and unheard. Thank you.
Thank you. I will look into a second opinion and research gynecological surgeons in my area (San Francisco). It's been a tough road to get a good recommendation.
Im on them now and just want to know what poeple experienced after they stopped the injections. Xx
*these are montly stomach injections for 6 months or 2x over six months. They bring on temporary menopause**
Is that Lupron that makes your body believe that you and perimenopause is that that has so many things done that I have no idea at this point. Iām just going back in time.
I've been struggling with endometriosis and an ovarian cyst for the last nine months (officially diagnosed, symptoms for 3 years previous), and I've been in pelvic floor PT for the last 8 weeks. My OBGYN has insisted my cyst will shrink naturally and keeps prescribing me different kinds of birth control and nothing has had any affect on my symptoms (most aren't even able to stop my periods). I'm still in high levels of pain on a daily basis and kind of feel like I'm losing my mind becauseā¦ read more

Many people do not know about endo. We can educate our friends about it and open the dialogue. We didn't choose to have endo and it's not our fault. I tell people the statistics ( 1 in 10 women inā¦ read more
I have always been very curious to know the difference between endometriosis pain and pregnancy pain. After I heal from my surgery on Thursday I will be trying to get pregnant. I would like to know what to expect when it comes to labor pain. It may sound weird but I feel like once I go though labor I can more accurately describe my pain level to people. I can say that it feels like someone is stabbing my right ovary with a dull red hot icepick but I have never actually been stabbed so, I do notā¦ read more
