What Should I Do
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

Hi everyone, I am 51 and have been diagnosed endo 4 for many years, having ovarian cysts on both side, they are about 4 and 5 cm. I tried IUD before but only made it worse, so that was taken out. Lately the pain has been increased so I am revisit the idea of surgery. My doctor suggested me to remove both of my cysts and overies, but I done some research, overies are important even I am perimanopause. But only removing the cysts would be very difficult as my condition with Endo, so it won't be a… read more

15 Minute Mile?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

Is anyone else struggling with a 15 minute mile? I used to be able to at least do 12 minutes but the last few weeks I just can not get out of the 15 minute range. Is this a good time for someone with endo? Can I even get any faster or stronger then this? Thanks

I’m off all hormonal birth control and I’ve gained 30lb the last two years. I want to say the main contributors are being less active & also a hormone imbalance? Ugh

A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

I’ve been on Yaz BC for 4 months and now instead of having pain during ovulation and menses like before the pill, now I’m having pain almost every day and spotting all the time. The doctors keeps saying “wait and see if things even out” but I don’t know how long I should keep trying this pill . This doesn’t feel better

I go through intense low depressive moods every month, and it affects not only myself, but those around me. I'm not sure if it's connected to endometriosis, but I'd like to know what has worked from other women with this condition. Thank you!

Panic Attacks And Increased Anxiety
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

This is my first time here and first post so bear with me. Since this past January, my endometriosis has reached new levels including chronic lower back pain, nausea and now panic attacks and anxiety. I never dealt with panic attacks or anxiety before, wondering if it’s endo related? I really feel the panic attacks (most at night) around ovulation and right before my period starts. My doctor put me on fluoxetine 20mg and it’s helped a bit but not enough to stop the attacks. Maybe I need a higher… read more

Anyone Taking Visanne Have Prolonged Periods?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question đź’

I started taking visanne 7-8 weeks ago and had a noticeable reduction in pain however my first cycle while on the medication hasnt stopped and I'm going on 4 weeks. My gyno is suggesting I tough it out since it's working to reduce pain but I'm inclined to stop if the bleeding continues. Everything I've read so far about visanne indicates your period should become lighter and maybe even disappear so I'm wondering if anyone else had this side effect and was there a way to stop the bleeding?
