Anytime I walk for extended periods or run specifically I start cramping pretty bad. Even standing too long can result in serrious pain. I'm pretty active though so it stresses me out. Is this normal?

Should I take Visanne?

Should I take Visanne?

I went to the gyno the other day who suspected I have endometriosis. I have been reading some posts about how Visanne can make your skin breakout quite badly.. I've always had issues with my skin and I finally am getting it right and am worried about it going off again.

I'm nervous to switch to a pill for a diagnosis that isn't certain. Should I take the risk and is it worth it? What side effects have you experienced?

CBD capsules

CBD capsules

Hi there - new to this forum, found it online because I am feeling pretty defeated from Endo. Has anyone tried cbd pills and if so how many milligrams. I have stage 4 endo, just got a Mirena put in 2 weeks ago and had the worst pain ever last night (almost went to the hospital) - felt like cyst bursting but with no relief for hours (I imagine intensified bc I am ovulating). No pain meds touched the pain. It felt like a contraction that would not let up. I am hopeful that in the long run the Mirenaread more

Heating pad for work ideas?

Heating pad for work ideas?

Does anyone use heating pads in their workplace? I've been using the stick-on disposable heat patches. I am thinking of getting a heat pad for my office desk chair but can't seem to find anything designed for this purpose.

Has yoga helped you? If yes, what kind?

I have heard a lot of people say that yoga helped them manage their pain, but I don't know much about it.

How did people adjust to the Mirena?

How did people adjust to the Mirena?

I just got it in on Tuesday and this morning woke up unable to stop crying... at nothing. In the past I have struggled with hormonal contraceptives but after almost 2 years in agonizing pain with the copper Paragard IUD I had to try something new. Please share good or bad experiences with Mirena and when the symptoms seemed to level out if ever. Thanks!

Unilateral vs. Bilateral Oophorectomy

Unilateral vs. Bilateral Oophorectomy

Has anyone out there had either a unilateral or bilateral oophorectomy in conjunction with excision/ablation, possibly in their mid to late 30s or early 40s? Have you been happy with your results? Have you had symptoms return? In October of 2016, I had an excision/ablation surgery, felt great for 5 months, and then my symptoms returned. Currently I’ve been on Lupron for almost 2 years and actually do really well, except for the surges towards the end of one shot and then… read more

Has anyone had their ovary shrink over time?

Has anyone had their ovary shrink over time?

I was diagnosed with endometriosis with the removal of my left ovary in 2015, but have ultrasounds from 2013 until now. It appears that my right ovary measured 18 cubic centimeters in 2013 and decreased down to 2.56 cubic centimeters now in 2019. I have been on birth control since I was 18 and as far as I know, I haven't entered early menopause. I still get the reminder every time I cycle every 3 months. My uterus also seems to have decreased from a consistent 7.2… read more
