I believe my period is coming on...and my question is im about to have surgery next month on the 8th and im usually on for about three weeks or more...will they still do the surgery if your on your period?
I had my period on my first surgery. I second @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member 's advice
Usually your period won't stop the surgery. Just be honest with your doctor because you don't want to get to the hospital that day and they say no surgery because your on your period. Just communicate. I was on my period for one of my laparoscopys and my doctor did it, plus I made sure he knew just in case. Sometimes if your iron or B12 deficient they have to keep that in mind and monitor your blood loss. It's more a safety caution. Good Luck and Hope You Feel Better!!

Yes, they will still do the surgery. Don't worry. I just looked this up and a lot of woman said they were heavy on bleeding and still had the surgery done
