Its been 3year's since my hysterectomy. They removed everything. From the waist down is misery. Don't forgot emotional and hot flashes. Hope everything gets better.

If you do complete hysterectomy you should be fine. Don't let them take out your uterus then come back for the ovaries that spreads the endo to other parts of your body.

I have read in so many articles that hyst is not the answer to endo. If I have flare ups I drink genpaynes. Maybe you should consult your dr. Sorry hun. Xxx

I had a partial hysterectomy 6 years ago & then my left ovary removed 12 months after due to adhesions & endometriosis binding my ovary & bowel together.
4 months ago I was diagnosed with secondary endometriosis & I am currently on hrt & prostap injections. I am in constant pain, so in my case having the hysterectomy has not helped long term but it does work for some women.
