I'm sorry to hear you're having a difficult time. I can suggest a few things that may be of help to you:
1) Invest in a good heating pad if you haven't already. I'm under mine whenever I'm at home. Then I use Thermacare heat wraps if I have to be out for long periods.
2) Magnesium 500mg/day. This is a natural supplement that can purchased over the counter. This is a natural muscle relaxant and works wonders for cramps. pain, and mood elevation. My mother began giving this to me as a young girl becase she didn't want to give me drugs. I've used it ever since. You can also get magnesium salts or use Epsom salts to take warm baths with. This will get into your bloodstream faster and help to relax you as well. Most menstruating women are deficient in magnesium, so this will also help with overall health. It can be found in green leafy vegetables as well, so increasing those in your diet may help.
3) Fish Oil. Omega 3's are a natural anti-inflammatory and will help with decreasing pain. I would recommend getting a good one, that's sourced from wild fish.
4) You can try over the counter pain relievers like Aleve or Pamprin. I would stay away from taking a lot of Ibuprofen or Tylenol for long periods as they can cause you to have gastrointestinal and liver problems.
5) Make sure you're getting enough water intake. A good way to figure out how much water you should drink is to divide your weight by 2 & drink that amount in ounces per day. Water is essential in allowing any supplements or medications to be distrubuted and to move excess water out of the body.
I hope this is helpful to you & you start to feel better soon. Feel free to message me if you have any questions! BE WELL!
I found that Aleve works just find extra strength kind and take two to start and one every 12 hours as needed hope this helps
Try looking on the manufacturers website because most have a program designed for people that cannot afford the medication. If anything it might be a big savings and maybe try having the md write the script and get it through a pharmacy that can bill the coupons for you? Im a pharmacy tech and used to find huge savings where people had to pay almost nothing for over 1,000$ meds.
Thxs so much
