Does anyone have any experience with Lupron injections??
I have had 6 Lupron shots and they have been worth it. Pain free with minimal side effects. Don't rule it out- it doesn't work for everyone but it could work for you. I have felt better than I have in years over the last 6 months
Don't go through Lupron please do a little research before you commit to treatment!!
The real negatives are the hot flashes, night sweats, headaches, hair loss, bone loss, ect. I can attest to that. However, in my case the good outweighed the bad for 13 before my doc reccomended I take add back estrogen. I'm now having a severe episode, excruciating pain and vomiting. But I have not had an episode like this since the month before I started my 2nd dose of Lupron. I now have more hair than ever and my osteoporopenia has gotten better-nearly normal range since starting Lupron. Each persons pain is different, just like each persons bodies are different. The first month of Lupron your hormones peak causing terrible pain. They slowly taper off over the first three months. I hope this helps!
I have been on Lupron for 13 months. Please let me know if you have any questions.
