Yeah mine was just up to midnight. I had to have clear liquids after the surgery though.

My doctor told me i could eat and drink anything up to midnight. after midnight i cant eat or drink anything

Clear diet also helps incase they have to do anything with your bowels. Ive always had to do a bowel prep before my laps.

If you are spotting they will still operate. And you have to have a clear liquid diet to prep for general anesthesia. Good luck!
