My idea: A discord group that is based off of connection, empowerment and support. We could watch documentaries together, share our milestones, support each other, etc! Maybe a monthly video chat where a bunch of us can just chat about what were going through, and share ideas to help each other. We could have meeting topics, movie streaming schedules, and overall all make a community. The point of the discord would be bringing like minded women together and create connections. πŸ’“ Any thoughts or… read more

I think that sounds like an awesome idea. I found out last year a coworker of mine has really bad Endo as well and we really connected over our shared experiences, and has been wonderful having someone who understands what you are going through. Endo Sisters/Warriors forever ♾️

Here are some ideas to help make it a success:

- Watch parties β€” Streaming *End of the Cycle* is a fantastic starting point. Documentaries can spark really meaningful conversations
- Monthly video chats β€” Having a set topic each month keeps things focused and gives members something to look forward to
- Milestone channels β€” A dedicated space to celebrate wins, big or small, can be incredibly uplifting
- Resource sharing β€” Members could share tips, coping strategies, and tools that have helped them manage symptoms
- Vent/support threads β€” Sometimes people just need to be heard without advice, so a safe space for that matters A few things worth keeping in mind as you build the community:

- Make it clear that shared tips are not a substitute for medical advice β€” always encourage members to consult their doctors before trying new treatments or supplements
- Set clear community guidelines to keep the space respectful and safe
- Be mindful of privacy β€” remind members to only share what they're comfortable with
- Watch for misinformation and consider having trusted moderators to help fact-check shared content

The endometriosis community is incredibly resilient and supportive. A space like this could make a real difference for so many people. Go for it! 🌟
