I know it's a cliché answer but focusing on being healthy is what I do. Excercise is painful for me as well most days but I walk a lot on a manual treadmill at home and hit the gym with my husband when I can. Mostly though I eat healthy, watch my portion control and calorie intake and mostly measure my improvement based on things getting easier (like cleaning the house without getting winded) than my shrinking waistline. I've found that when I focus on being healthy the lbs tend to drop on their own. And remember, you didn't gain the weight overnight and can't expect to lose it overnight! That's been the hardest lesson for me to make peace with. Also yoga helps a ton with pain and helps me calm down when I'm having a hard time.

I am in the same predicament. I find it's hopeless. I'm trying suppliments. Nothing works. I'd love to do more exercise but it's difficult with pain and my job/family! I believ totally that my hormones and the HRT I'm taking really don't help. Sorry I can't offer much advise other than to say that you're most definitely not alone! Xx
