I just had an excision and was on my period. They were not concerned, in fact I think I heard somewhere it might actually be better...
When I apologized to my doctor he shrugged and said "no problem. Occupational hazard" :-)

Being on your period shouldn't matter. You ended up bleeding some anyways after surgery from them poking and scraping and being in places that no one should be in. good luck on your surgery.

The only way surgery will be cancelled Katie is if you are pregnant. Otherwise being on a period ďoesnt matter.

Wow. I am so sorry. I've never heard of that. Drs usually find its easier to do surgery when you are on your period for female issues.

Surgery was cancelled due to period because she couldn't do the dye test she said. Rebooked for 19th September x
