Most of the time I try not to involve my husband. He gets frustrated about my condition. Sometimes I feel like he blames me, because I sometimes don't follow my endo diet, and I decided to use a natural approach instead of modern medicine. I think it would help if the men in our life would read up on our condition and learn to be supportive. Maybe you can talk to him about how he can support you. I had to give my husband examples of what it means to be supportive to me. Sometimes men like to give advice or try to solve the problem. When they can't solve the problem they feel frustrated. Express to him your appreciation when he does support you. I have to remind myself that my husband trying to solve the problem is his way of being supportive. I have a hard time with this with my husband.

My boyfriend is pretty amazing with it. I found a metaphor on this site which really helped me to explain the pain to him - I told him its like blisters on all your lower organs which rub and stretch which is quite painful.

I also told him to not worry about me unless I tell him I need him, else he worries so much he can't get on with his own life.

Yes I agree with @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member My spouse is very involved and with me every step of the way! I know some men do not understand or have a hard time understanding but if you can try, it's worth it because their support is truly helpful and empowering!

My husband actually got to experience all of my major pain episodes first hand and after I actually got a proper diagnosis, he spoke with the dr too. He was there to speak with my dr after my laparoscopy and was told first the extent of my sutuation. He knows it's real and that's been the best help.
