Time off work after laparoscopy

Hi all, just wondering how much time I will need off work after my first laparoscopy? Especially if it is the NHS signing you off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm in Canada. They have told me approximately 3 weeks. That's what I took last time. I feel like the third week was just resting up from the healing and surgery.

In the states its usually 2 weeks. Some people need more or less
