How do you know when and if your endo has spread. I know this may he a stupid question. But my doctors are not very helpful and told me i was over reacting for years until finally being diagnosed in august last year after having a laparoscopy. I Have constant back pain. Pain after and during intercourse. Groin pain but this comes an goes. An frequent period like pain. ( im currently on the artificial menopause injections GNrH)
Can you translate that into simple terms.
Endo often involves the uterosacral ligaments which attach on the sacral area of the back and to the sides of the uterus not far above the cervix. These ligaments were resected in December along with endo on the left iliac artery. I remain on natural progesterone by troche with dose individualized along with estrogen and testosterone. But I'm menopausal without uterus or ovaries/tubes. But like many women, I have pelvic adhesive disease along with Stage 4 endometriosis.
Yeah. I have also been really easily upset an cry over nothing. Put on weight. Very low self esteem and still have terrible back pain constantly. Along with no appetite an unable to sleep. They're a nightmare .. just dreading what it will be like when i stop them though. Xxx
Ive got two left as well. I can manage the hot flushes but the headaches are making me more concerned.
Thanks. Ive got 2 injections left and i still have pain. I assume once i've finished this treatment they will arrange another laproscapy or ultra sound. I will just have to wait an see i guess x
