Estrace
I am on the Estradiol transdermal system twice weekly for menopause symptoms due to having a complete hysterectomy. I was informed the hysterectomy would correct the pelvic pain, back and abdominal pain I was having due to the endometriosis. I was also informed the endometriosis would not grow back by having the hysterectomy. Was I lied to?
Do you take provera with your estrace? The answer to your question is like dnotko said, yes & no. I am one of the unfortunate ppl that it keeps coming back. I was on estrace & provera for almost all my life but bc of cysts in the breast, they took me off last summer. That is why I was asking if you take both bc I did have a complete hysterectomy. Now my older sister had endo years ago & she is the fortunate one. She never had it come back but never had children. I hope this helps you. Best of luck. Tigreyes
Yes and no. For some women hysterectomy has helped. For others a hysterectomy does not help. Its a personal decision. My mom had a complete hysterectomy at 30 and never had endo come back. As u will see by others posts on this site, they have had hysterectomy and their endo has grown back
