Has anyone else been told that having a baby is the best 'cure' for endo? One of the HC professionals I spoke to told me that: Zoladex can help for 2-3 years, surgery can help for 4-5 years but pregnancy has shown to help relieve the symptoms for up to 10 years. Has anyone found this to be true? And... does the endo pain mean you're better equipped to cope with labour pains/contractions? Or does it instead mean that the contractions are much more intense than they should be/are for women without… read more
Hi! I’ve been suffering with endo pains since 2015 and I was told getting pregnant was the best solution. Unfortunately that’s not an answer for me right now.
Id agree only whilst pregnant, it was post pregnancy that my symptoms really appeared and caused me to find out I have endo. So seems ive always had it but the hormonal changes post pregnancy have caused flare ups

All of my endo symptoms went away during pregnancy. My endo came back with a vengence as soon as i gave birth. I had to have surgery 6 months after giving birth
This is an old wives’ tale. Pregnancy is not a cure for endometriosis and in fact can be dangerous in certain women with deep infiltrating endo of the bowel. I have heard this tale from many people, but thankfully my OB/GYN has not recommended it.
