I don't know if this question has been asked before, but has anyone still experiencing pain after being put on birth control for endometriosis? My doctor has me on Depo shot after the pill hasn't worked and I'm still in pain.....maybe its just me :( She has said that if it doesn't work then we will need to do surgery, but this would be my third surgery and I really don't want to....any advice would be appreciated.

I’m also non the depo shot and I still have pains! Our next step is hysterectomy because I don’t want anymore children
Looks like surgery is going to be my future but this time she wants to do a laparotomy which is a general cut, not looking forward to that :(
I was given Lupron injections for six months after my first surgery, tried three different birth controls, and I currently have the Mirena IUD but I still got constant cramping near every day that OTC medicines don't touch. I'm sorry I can't offer any good advice - I'm hoping my case is an anomally and that something works much better for you!
I was on the pill forever to control the endo then I had a Pulmonary Embolism a year ago so they put me on the depo provera and it hasn't helped at all. I am scheduled to go in for a Mirana this month. My new dr said it would work better. I've been through the surgery before, it definitely helped get the ones they could.
That's what its looking like for me, I have so many lap scars, my OB/GYN is even thinking about doing a cut inside of the lap :(
