Hi all. Had my pelvic ultrasounds this morning. On the plus side, no polyps have returned and no endometriomas, but they did find a small cyst inside one of my ovaries—the same one that had a large endometrioma sitting on it which was removed during my lap. They say it looks like a complex cyst that could dissolve but they want to watch it. Is it possible a) to have one ovary more prone to cysts and b) for the complex cyst to be related to endo? Thank you!
I read last night that studies have shown that all the different types of ovarian cysts and the rupturing of them are more common on the right side but I’ve only just read that and haven’t found much more on it.
I’m not sure about one ovary being more prone then another. In regards to the complex cyst though, there are 3 types of complex cysts, one of which is the endometrioma so I always assume if my cyst is complex that it’s endo.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member isn’t that crazy?! I actually had a right ovarian torsion due to a cyst at the age of 12, which destroyed it, but then my left side also had multiple chocolate cysts
