Wait does Visanne cause chocolate cysts?

I had my second laparoscopy last week and when I went for a follow up my gynecologist showed me I also had chocolate cyst. I am on Visanne and have been for almost a year now. My doctor says it's the best treatment for endometriosis,are you now telling me it is the cause for chocolate cysts 😢🤤?
