I had pain before my gyn appointment, during the appointment. But i don’t get instant pain with a pelvic exam or when she feels my cervix, uterus, etc. However I do get pain for a few days after the exam. Today I had a pelvic exam, bimanual exam, digital rectal exam, and a transvaginal ultrasound. My pain has now tripled!! I always thought it couldnt be endo after hearing all who have severe pain with speculum exams but does anyone else just get pain afterwards or used to before diagnosed?
my doctor got back to me after i asked her about pain after exam. she replied
“Well, this could mean that there is something in your pelvis, that can be aggravated by a manual exam. Let us try the continuous pills without withdrawal bleeding. If pain does not get better, let me know” 😕
interesting. yeah i had my visit earlier today and now i am blown up like a balloon! maybe ill email my gyn and tell her because i have noticed this pattern with past exams. I dont know if she will think endo but right now the more info i give the more likely i am to get a diagnosis/lap
do you find you get bloating too with the after pain?
