Ok what?? Your doctor won’t give you any hormones? Your hormones need to balanced out. I started the second day after surgery having menopause & your right-it is awful. My doctor put me on Nortrel. (It’s basical a birth control pill) It has progestin & estrogen in it. Before I got those in my hands she was giving me a shot of to help. The shot helped & now doing the pills-it has helped as well. I also take black cohosh just because I read an article about it & my girlfriend was telling me about it.
But you need something-that’s BS!! Demand something & if they don’t find a new doctor.

Yes you should of been given some kind of hormone pill. I take estradiol & provera together & have been since my total hysterectomy. You will feel much better if they give you some sort of hormone pill. I know everyone is different but they can't expect you to do this cold turkey. Even with the hormones I still have occasional night sweats. I'd be on there case about that. they should know better. I would find another dr. Look on F.B. Nancys Nooks. They have a list. Best of luck to you.

Thank you guys so much. It’s been at least 6 months sense my surgery. I had a lot of questions when I went in and nothing was answered. I left with more questions and a lot of frustration. Along with my Endo, I had numerous tumors removed, and my last ovary. I had everything else removed 6 years ago. The only thing they said was “it’s not cancer, here is your tissue report”.
