In addition to the usual cramping the last few months I've been having pains in the front of my thighs. It can be hard to walk at times, walking up and down steps are challenging, and one day I couldn't put any pressure on my legs at all. I'm only working with a fertility specialist at the moment, she seemed to think that when I ovulated it put pressure on a nerve and that's what was causing the pain, but she's not an endo specialist

Members validated the experience of thigh and leg pain with endometriosis, confirming it is a common symptom often linked to lesion location, particularly when affecting the uterosacral ligaments or causing an obliterated cul de sac. Several members described similar patterns including front thigh pain that makes walking difficult, sharp or shooting pains in the groin and hip areas, sciatic nerve pain down the back of the legs during periods, and butt lightning sensations, with many doctors explaining these as referred pain that may improve after excision surgery. A recurring theme was the relief of feeling less alone in experiencing bizarre and debilitating pain patterns, along with hope that upcoming laparoscopic procedures would provide answers and relief.

Yes! Pain and weakness in the front of my thighs. My doctor said it is normal for endo patients, unfortunately. It makes me so tired.

I have an obliterated cul de sac. It's common for modules on the uterosacral ligament to cause this as well. The leg pain is awful :-(

Yes, I've been lurking on here and on Nancy's Nook long enough to know that leg pain is common in women with endo and can be related to where your lesions are located. I also have leg pain.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member sorry you have the pain as well, but feels comforting to know others experience the same thing.
