Hi Everyone. New Here. Just Wondering If Anyone Here Conceived In Their 30s?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Just wondering if anyone has had success and if so how long did it take. Also any tips to not be so obsessive and pessimistic would be very welcomed. This should be a happy time but I feel guilty for being so negative.

My gyno had told me in my 20s that my chances to conceive after 30 would be slim. So I find I went into this feeling discouraged. Trying to stay upbeat but finding it difficult.

I tried for over a year to get pregnant. So, I had laparascopic surgery to excise my endo scar tissue and I got pregnant a month later! I was 34 when I had my first son. My doctor said I was her miracle patient because my endometriosis was so bad that she didn't think I would be able to get pregnant. Then, I got pregnant again at 35 and had a miscarriage. But then, I got pregnant again at 36 and had another boy! So, yes, it is possible! Hang in there!

I concieved naturally just days after my 30th birthday after having suffered over 15 years. Had a lap a few years ago to remove the endo and there was evidence of it starting to grow back when we were TTC. A naturopath and osteopath helped me concieve naturally and in only a few months.

I conceived at 33 with the help of fertility tablets, i tried on and off for 8 years then at the end of my treatment it happened. It is hard but don’t give up. X
