My TTG Antibody, IgA came back as abnormal 1.2. Anyone know what this means? I know it’s used to test for gluten intolerance but is this test used for anything else?
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member thank you ladies so much! I will definitely talk more about it with my doctor. I have had an endoscopy with a biopsy before and it came back fine.
I read online that when your TgA immunes are los you are more susceptible to infections like genital infections. I’ve been getting recurrent yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis so now I’m wondering if it’s all connected (???). I’ll have to find out why it’s low, though.
I think I seen for one more thing. But mainly Celiac.Maybe thats some of your issue.Does it run in family?
I know when I had a endoscopy they did a biospy for celiac. They take a sample from certain places.
I think positive means celiac.I will look it up.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member it doesn’t run in my family and it doesn’t make me sick. So not sure what my results mean 🤨
