It does sound like Endo. Could also be adenomyosis. I recommend searching for Nancy’s nook on Facebook if you aren’t already on there. It’s not a support group but it has a lot of good resources including questions to ask your doctor. You have to agree to the rules before being admitted.

So it all started when I was 23 I had really bad periods so I went to my gynecologist to see what was up. She did an ultrasound and saw nothing. I had heavy periods, spotting in between periods and really bad cramps (it might of already been my endo I just didn’t know about it at that time). Periods got heavier so I went back 6 months later to a different gynecologist and she said I had fibroids. She wasn’t specific on location or size. She just said it was 1 fibroid. She said she couldn’t do anything about it and to just wait and see. I went to a different gynecologist 3 months later and he performed an ultrasound and said I had a big fibroid. He ordered a HSG test but they weren’t able to perform the test because I have cervical stenosis. So the next step was a laparoscopy to see the exact location of the fibroid. The idea of a laparoscopy scared me so we did an MRI instead. They were able to detect 3 fibroids.

I meant to ask you, how did they find the fibroids? Did you have to have a hysteriscope or any other procedures before the lap?
