I am trying to decide whether to try a presacral neurectomy, IUD, or just get a hysterectomy. I am having immense pelvic and rectal pain. It radiates down my legs.

I have adenomyosis and endometriosis. I have a surgical consult in April for a hysterectomy. Unfortunately none of the treatments we have tried have helped and I'm at the end of my rope. Feel free to ask me anything though.

I had a presacral neurectomy in December when I had excision surgery for endo. In December I had no cramps at all and January I did. Although, the cramping was NOTHING compared to what I felt before. I believe this is a semi risky procedure to have done. Make sure you see a specialist for it.

I take norethindrone, it's a 5mg pill twice a day, have had no issues with pain and haven't had a surgery in 2 years. This was literally the last resort I have had multiple surgeries, iud's, birth control etc ...

My suggestion do try any other possible help for your pain. only get Hysterectomy as last absoule last resort if u still in pain after u tried other things but hysterectomy doesn't always means it sloves endo problems i had to have my ovaries removed so my endo won't damaged my good healty ovaries and i had stop pain and stop endo grow around my body .it has been hard accepting i can't be a mum but i have lovely nethews and lovely mum and sister.
