Hi, does anyone have any tips for after a hysterectomy and excision surgery? I have had excision surgery before so i know what to expect from that. But any tips about having both done at same time would be awesome. Any recovery tips are wanted! Thanks!
I just had surgery on Saturday, so less than a week ago and the belly band helped but most importantly, stay on the pain meds. Lots of rest and walking.
If you even feel the slightest bit constipated, take something to soften your stools and make sure you are drinking lots of water! I thought I was ok as I was having bowel movements every day from 2 days after surgery but it built up over a week and I was in serious pain, like doubled over can't move, crying on the floor pain!
I think all the pain meds were the issue but regardless of what it was, just be aware and keep it loose. 😉
I can agree take time to heal and don’t stop the pain meds because I am learning my lesson today from my surgery and I am in pain and having issues with my incinsions.
