Endo Pregnancy
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I know that endo can cause infertility and or problems trying to conceive, my question is to all you women who have had a child can endo cause issue for the baby when there in you? I have a chocolate cyst on my right ovary and well I’ve never been under the knife. I was just curious like if for some miracle I get pregnant while having the cyst can the baby be harmed by it?

I’ve never heard of it being a danger to the baby, my best friend has severe Endo she had her third child a healthy baby boy, I hear more about symptoms returning after the pregnancy is over.

Its more of a danger to you than baby. If this helps, i got pregnant really easily after my lap to clear out endo in 2015. I did not have a chocolate cyst but had a ton of endo that they burned and excised. We were pregnant like 8 months after surgery and baby is healthy :) got pregant again when my first born was 18 months. So teo back to back pregnancies...
I had a hysterectomy yesterday due to adenomyosis and the surgeon didnt have to take out any endo at all due to his thoroughness in the first surgery he did in 2015 and the back to back pregnancies. The endo kinda went dormant.
In my opinion it would be better to get the cyst removed along with all other endo. You will have a much easier and healthier pregnancy for both you and baby :) and you wont have a cyst that could burst while taking care of a new born. :/ thats just my story and opinion :) hope it helped

I was told it doesnt as the baby grows in the uterus and everything happening is outside. But i dont how it can harm the baby given ita their little sack growing. I had an ectopic pregnancy which was before i was diagnosed but now ill just ne high risk due the issue ag hand because it can affect us not the baby

Your more likely to have complications during pregnancy and at high risk of ectopic pregnancy. So just make sure to have a dr monitor the pregnancy
