Does anyone use heating pads in their workplace? I've been using the stick-on disposable heat patches. I am thinking of getting a heat pad for my office desk chair but can't seem to find anything designed for this purpose.
I just use my hot water bottle! I bought one specifically just to leave in my desk at work - then it's just there when I need it! You do what you need to do my love! Whatever works. x
Yes! I use one daily right at my desk. I work in an open cubicle setting. I found a small one at CVS near the first aid type items for around $22. I don't leave home without it. It really makes the workday bearable.
If you work near an outlet, a regular hearing pad should be fine. I've used both that a hot water bottle, and a rice bag. All were helpful (though the rice bag cools fastest)
I hear Sunbeam is another good brand for electrical heating pads.
Yes! Definitely! I recently went through the headache of finding a good heating pad with a hot enough setting to replace my old one. Rite aid and walgreens brands were shit in my opinion. I'm really loving my Boncare. Only 2 settings, but the highest is super hot...and it doesn't have the auto shutoff feature, so I can leave it on all night and not wake up just to click the damn thing back on, like I had to with my previous one. I tried the rice bag and water bottle heaters, but electric was way more consistent heat without any work required. When I worked in an office I was next to an outlet, so the heating pad became the butt warmer in my chair at all times. π€£
