How Frequently Do You Have Pain?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I know typically endometriosis is described as a period problem but I have pain almost 24/7. Any amount of exercise or activity causes pain for me even just standing or sitting too long ends with me curled up in a ball. Does anyone else have pain this much and do you guys struggle with walking as well?

First of all hugs too you and sorry you are going through this aswell ☹️
I too have pain every day, some days are minimal pain but never completely pain free and 2 weeks out of the month the period phase and ovulation pain is just horenndous can't mentally function or walk just curl up with a tone of pain killers which recently have given me a stomach ulcer from taking 3 Advil tablets every 4 hrs even waking up during the night to take some pain relief so I can sleep 😣 so easily I exceed the recommended dosage in a day you should take I can take 12 Advil tablets in a day and get minimal pain relief just maximum damage to my liver and stomach πŸ˜– I have been taking high amounts of Advil like that for 8 months and it's wrecked my gut and liver 😣 And they didn't give me much relief and during ovulation and period Advil doesn't even work at all ☹️ my doctor is a dick again and I'm over changing doctors and gynecologists that won't even help, I'm over surgeries so after some research I have just started a different path to manage my pain I have started taking high strength full spectrum CBD oil drops every day 2 in the morning 2 before bed and have been taking it for 4 weeks now and my pain amount has already halved and so many other symptoms related to my endo issues, I sleep better my mood is so much better, have more energy, my skin is better, I no longer get headaches or terrible night sweats and most of all I'm seeing more pain relief then I ever have just from 4 drops of CBD oil a day, then I ever got from any man made pharmaceutical pain killer and without any side effects πŸ‘Œ
It is illegal where I live in Australia getting it is very expensive and getting a medical cannabis prescription here is very tough unless you have terminal cancer or seizures or epilepsy forget about it, but too be honest I don't care I am sick and tired of being in pain every single day so if it means break the law well be it then lock me up for taking some plant oil drops πŸ™ˆ
Sorry for huge rant on your post but know that what you are going through is possible you can have pain every day from this terrible disease and it affects your every day living not just on your period.
And yes I get shooting pains just from doing a 40 minutes grocery shopping 😣
CBD oil isn't a cure but after taking so many different medications nothing has worked as well so far so I am all up for it and look forward to seeing what benefits I get from it after using it for longer term πŸ˜€ hugs and much love from Australia ❀️

I have experienced the same thing. I have to stand for my job and it can be debilitatingly painful. My family insists that I should go for a walk every day, but like you, that can also end with worse pain. I’m still looking for helpful remedies, but right now I just use heat packs several times a day.

I don't know if it's specifically related, but mine started after I began taking hormonal treatments.

Jordan tews I’ve been on hormones since June. Usually I get pain a week before my period an during then it
Stops. Well this time. I got extremely bad cramps an presuree when I started my period an it ended over a week ago an I still have the pain. My flow on the other hand was extremely light when it’s usually heavy. Idk what’s going on
