What is laparoscopy?

Of it helps, my lap was both for diagnostic and excision of endometriosis tissues that were binding organs together. After my lap it took a good 2-3 weeks before I could reliably do anything solo without help (including standing up to cook meals and be able to sit instead of lie down) but it took almost another month and a half for me to feel the full benefits from the excision surgery. This was in 2017, but I was relatively pain free for almost a year afterwards. Be patient and don’t be afraid to ask your doctor for pain medication to sleep better... sleep is an amazing help to healing up well. Good luck ❤️❤️

Yes! My laparoscopic caused a flare up. Met with the Gyn today and we discussed this. It’s three weeks post surgery. I only had a diagnostic laparoscopic with possible cystectomy. I have been in pain every day since. I feel like I’m on my period everyday. Starting treatment soon.

My pain started after the second period post lap. I'm now managing it with hormones (Visanne) and painkillers. After 2 moths of treatment (3 months after surgery) the pain has significantly reduced.
It might take some time for your body to heal but I would definitely speak to your doctor about these symptoms.
For me it turned out that the pain might have been caused by the hormonal treatment I've been initially prescribed after op. Once I changed the hormones things have improved.

I was in a bunch of pain after my lap, for about a month and a half. I guess some people just heal slower. I hope your pain starts to go away fast! 💛
