Chronic Pain Medicine- Exparel
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Someone mention their doctor put them on “chronic pain medication”. I’d never heard of that before. I just found this one. It is available in the US, but I’m not sure where else. Has anyone used it? It’s a non-opioid pain medication. It’s called Exparel.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member My dr didn't suggest anything. I'm actually not in pain regularly anymore (LOVE excision). Someone here mentioned their doctor wrote them a "chronic pain" medicine and I don't know what that means.. so I googled it and came up with that and so I got curious if anyone has used this.

Rachelle, I noticed that after I posted this. It's odd to me that they'd call it a "chronic pain" medication when it's just for post-op. Weird, huh? My drs don't use those, they said they don't work well for endo but I see women on here who feel they help. Who knows anymore? But thank you for answering. That might really be what the lady meant.
