Someone mention their doctor put them on “chronic pain medication”. I’d never heard of that before. I just found this one. It is available in the US, but I’m not sure where else. Has anyone used it? It’s a non-opioid pain medication. It’s called Exparel.

Maybe you need to change your doctor
Wow! Never heard of it! My doctor didn't want to give me any narcotics! That sucks 😞 because im in so much pain!
Today has been a better day for me now because I went to physical therapy but after I got home and I got done eating it was like I started cramping again and it's not a good feeling
Well I'm not using anything for mines I'm just drinking a lot of water teas and I eat healthy and I keep it moving regardless how much it hurts
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member My dr didn't suggest anything. I'm actually not in pain regularly anymore (LOVE excision). Someone here mentioned their doctor wrote them a "chronic pain" medicine and I don't know what that means.. so I googled it and came up with that and so I got curious if anyone has used this.
Rachelle, I noticed that after I posted this. It's odd to me that they'd call it a "chronic pain" medication when it's just for post-op. Weird, huh? My drs don't use those, they said they don't work well for endo but I see women on here who feel they help. Who knows anymore? But thank you for answering. That might really be what the lady meant.
