I find that Nausea is a huge symptom of my endo. My OB disregards this when I bring it up and says that is an upper GI issue, not related to your endo but when I read all of these same symptoms here I feel vindicated! I know it's my endo, why do Dr's seem to refuse this as a symptom when it is obviously very common?
I have decided that I am no longer going to see a regular OB for my endometriosis anymore. I don't know if you have any specialists near you, but it's definitely worth looking into even if it's just for a single visit. I don't think endometriosis is studied and focused on enough during their education. I also get nausea bad around my period time. I had a scope done at 16 to rule out things like ulcerative colitis, and crohn's. Turns out it's just endometriosis but no one could figure that one out for another 10 years.
I get nausea as well and for hears it was dismissed as GI and IBS. Im nauseous most days and the bc is not relieving it anymore.
I strongly suggest finding another doctor. No doctor should be minimizing your concerns.
Yikes!! Respectfully, you need a new doctor. 😃 I mean, you're absolutely right that nausea is commonly associated with endo. I can verify that! Since my excision surgeries, I get it a lot less often.
I’ll leave a resource list here of stuff about endo I've found helpful over the years. Other users have said it helped too. Let me know if I can do anything.
