Visanne is great! I’ve been on it for about 3 months and feel amazing. The first month is tough while your body is adjusting to it, crazy mood swings so warn your husband ;). But it relieved all of my symptoms

I have not tried mirena, went straight to Visanne. It’s a great drug and is used in Europe mostly not USA

I was on vissane for 5-6 years ago before conceiving (currently) . It really worked for me because it stopped my periods, would spot once in a while.

My gynea adviced me to take vissane pills daily and on the same time daily.
The side effects that i had were mood swings and i would feel nauseous at times. No weight gain or acne.
