I am 8 days post-op lap with hysteroscopy snd tissue removal - my period is expected in the next two days and i guess i thought the cramps would not be as bad as i have been used to but they are
I had a diagnostic laproscopy w/o hysterectomy. I was still taking hormonal meds after surgery so I never really got my period, just some blood in the urine. Use herbal medicine to your advantage when you can like teas and tinctures and CBD. Even mushroom capsules can be helpful, but do your research and talk to your Dr. before starting any new daily regiment. I wish you strength and healing.
The first 2-3 periods can be tough - the same as pre-surgery or worse. Hang in there!
I agree after my endo surgery, my gyno said wait 3 months to see how periods feel. You have too much inflammation from surgery.

Thank you for tour feedback @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member me finally finding a doctor to do surgery makes all the discomfort right now worth it for me to have less pain later at least for a little while after surgery I know it may come back
