I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy to rule out GI symptoms and took that information to my gynecologist to show her that it was not my GI tract that was giving me symptoms. Between that, my chronic pain, and a cyst on my ovary, she agreed to do a laparoscopy and that's when I got diagnosed with endometriosis. Sometimes you have to do a differential diagnosis and rule out other things so you know it's the actual endometriosis which could be on your bowel causing issues.

I had endoscopy, colonoscopy, and gastro related physical therapy for 3+ months specific to pelvic floor dysfunction & gastro related pains

All test & the PT showed no results / no improvement from the PT and it was after all that, when my GP told me I should get Endo looked into.

It was pretty easy to get the endoscopy and colonoscopy, I just asked the Gastro doctor and he did it, so definitely try asking. I don't personally think you need to try the pelvic floor dysfunction PT though. Just gastro imaging should be fine, and it's rather quick and painless in my experience so nothing to worry about.

If you’re concerned I would say schedule something. If they rule it as not GI related then go to your gynecologist and see if it’s endo related.
