Yes, I used "Loloestrin fe" it never gave me the amount of relief I needed in order to get back to my normal daily life activities. I was still experiencing severe anemia due to extremely heavy periods. I had the Mirena IUD implanted while I was under anesthesia for my laparoscopic surgery. So far, it was a great decision. My periods are the lightest they have ever been in my life, and no more daily pills!

BCP never completely relieved my symptoms. It merely lessened them to where I could function most days, with the exception of the first few days when I would have started my period. The GI symptoms were always the worst part of mine. Hopefully as you are on it longer, you will feel some relief. *prayers
