Hi, I've been on visanne for 2.5 months now and haven't had any issues or discomforts at all. I had an almost insignificant spotting during first 'periods' since starting V along with very minor cramps, but everything has been great since. My second expected 'period' I had zero spotting and cramps.

Additionally, I've been feeling much more relieved in general because prior to V I'd almost put my personal and work plans on hold due to the fear of period pain, but now due to V, I don't need to track calendars any more to make important plans.

Finally, no mental health issues at all too. However, I do know that this is not the experience of a lot of women who use visanne (at least initially), so I'm just thanking my stars that at least so far the med seems to be working well for me. I'll be getting another scan done after completing 3 months to see if my endo cyst has grown or shrunk. Fingers crossed for the coming months!

Yes. I have been taking it slightly more then 3 months now. I've got vaginal yeast infection in the first month. Later got spotting (brown vaginal discharge) almost everyday. It supposed to stop the estrogen actually. It means we expect to miss our period after taking it. Which caused the cyst will shrink. Entering my 4th month now, heavy spotting getting less. Though recent scan showed that my cyst bigger by almost 1 cm, doctor advised me to continue taking the visanne to see how it's progressing.
