Depo Injection
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hey! I've been on the depo injection for close to a year now, my reason for taking it is because my doctor said it will reduce growth and prevent future growth from happening.

I've recently been told by other women with endo that this is just not true, can anyone help advise? I feel SO let down and lied to by my doctor if that's the case, especially because it's making me bleed for months on end which has made me poorly.

Why's it so difficult to get help!! Infuriating to say the least

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member Hey! Thanks for your message. I am 25 and I have stage 4, it affects my bowel, bladder and the 'usual' areas. I have been pregnant before, this was before my Endometriosis took over my life & caused problems with my fertility. I'd love advice on supplements etc, I like the idea of going down the natural route - i've tried pharmacy recommendations i.e. birth control and I just don't get along with any of them unfortunately. Thanks for your nice comment <3
