Hey Tilly ☺️, yes I was put onto Tibolone which is a very very low dose HRT to protect your bones while on the Prostap. I can’t say whether it made any difference to how I felt while on the injections, but I’m carrying on with it for another couple months rather than ramp up to higher dosage HRT. Will see how it goes…

Thanks Colette, did you have it with the HRT? I am so glad you’ve come off it if it was causing you negative effects.

Hi there, yes I’ve had this treatment for the past 6 months and literally just came off it. I unfortunately had a negative experience with it, it gave limited improvement for my abdominal pain but gave me terrible joint and muscle pain. I wouldn’t have it again if I could avoid it. Others though have reported great improvement from it without the adverse effects so it’s worth trying, but keep an eye on the side effects! The first month will be particularly hard so be prepared to push through it. Best of luck for whatever you decide ❤️

I am currently having the prostap injections, but I am really struggling with being prescribed HRT! It's horrendous!!
