Hi, so I’ve just been started on prostap injections once a month and had my first one today, they told me it puts me through temporary menopause while I’m on the injections and I’m just wondering if anyone on here has had these injections and if so how long did it take for you to notice side effects (if any) and if you noticed any differences. Thank you!
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member I’ve already started to notice I’m sweating a lot more and had my first hot flush today which was intense, I’m overheating at night time too, and I am very moody/emotional, consultant says this is a normal reaction to it as it puts you through menopause and that I could potentially get hormone replacement to help with the symptoms.
I’m also curious about this. My doctor gave it to me as an option but I’m not super thrilled about the side effects…
