Diet change (no gluten, dairy and limited sugar) acupuncture, turmeric, just a complete overhaul of my lifestyle really. I couldn’t do birth control anymore, I’d tried 15 none worked and just made me worse. It has made a slight change to my life and pain and compared to hormone treatments - I’ll take it

Your first cycle may be worse than normal but after the first they’ll go back to your “normal” 💛

This will be my first time trying to ween myself off the bc I can't handle it anymore. So far so good I'm just worried about my next cycle.

Diet & exercise. Years ago I went to a naturopath & she put me on an antiinflammatory diet: avoid wheat, dairy, caffeine, & alcohol. Some also say sugar. I definitely noticed a difference right away after cutting cow dairy & minimizing my wheat intake. Work with your doctor on an elimination diet. Food is both medicine & poison. Also try a TENS unit for pain.
