I completely understand the desire to be holistic. If you’re comfortable, find an acupuncturist who can provide herbal treatments. This helps. I think my dietary changes were equally impactful. I gave up alcohol, caffeine, dairy, and refined sugar. This helped for a while, but things really turned a corner when I went vegan. I also alternated between heat and ice, depending on the day. All of this reduced the frequency of my flares tremendously.

The thing that made the most difference for me pain wise is kratom. Cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer) helps keep my muscles loose instead of feeling like they're tense and flexing all the time. Renew vaginal probiotics seem to help with pelvic inflammation for me. I also finally found a doc who prescribes me meloxicam (anti-inflammatory) for when the probiotics aren't doing enough or I can't really afford them consistently
