I have an endometrioma on my right ovary which is now 4.6 cm. It has grown over a cm within a few months while I was on birth control. I've now been put on Visanne; took my first pill yesterday. If this doesn't work, the next step is surgery. I don't like the idea of surgery so I'm hoping that others had good experiences with Visanne in shrinking their endometrioma. Thanks in advance 😊

I just started my 4th month on Visanne. I had two 3cm cyst on each ovary, and one 2.6cm myoma on my right uterus. Both cyst was gone, and my myoma shrink to 1.9cm. My bleeding stopped completely on my 3rd month.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member My endometrioma is now 3.7 cm so it's slowly shrinking. I'm still on Visanne and my next appointment is early December. Hopefully it continues shrinking. My doctor also found a fibroid though but we're focusing on shrinking the endometrioma for now.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member an update: after 6 weeks on Visanne my endometrioma shrunk to 4.2cm; so it shrunk by 0.4 cm. I'll get an update in 6 week's time while I continue on Visanne. Hopefully it shrinks some more πŸ™‚
