I did lacposcopy to remove endo from both my fallopian tube and my right ovary last September. After surgery I stop eating dienogest.

Recently, I took dienogest for 2 months, gained 6kg but the endo doesn't seem to shrink it grew bigger instead (from 4cm to 6cm).

I understand that even if I opt for hysterectomy the endo will still come back. It seem like I have to suffer and live with it.

I feel your pain, I've gained a lot of weight while on Visanne too and progress seems slow. I recently read a study on the effects of the aminoacid NAC on endo patients with endometriomas and results are that after three months, the size of the endometriomas were significantly more reduced than when on Visanne PLUS a significant reduction in BMI (body mass index) followed by taking NAC. This is thankfully a readily available supplement that doesn't break the bank, and so since about a month back I stopped Visanne and started taking NAC, three times a day for three consecutive days of the week. The study was for three times a day/three consecutive days of the week for 3 months. I have had NO pain so far and I've stopped gaining weight inexplicably. Im crossing all fingers and toes this is the answer to our prayers because being on Visanne is not fun. I also have more energy than I used to! I'd insert the link but I'd lose the thread, so just google: effects of NAC on endometriosis and you'll find it. Good luck my loves!!!
